Markham Reclaimed's showroom is based in the village of Harlington overlooking the Markham Hills, with excellent links from Junction 12 of the M1. We specialise in crafting beautiful one-off furniture pieces from reclaimed timber for the commercial & domestic clients. Whilst our passion is creating and designing, it was evolved from a love of creating furniture from the reclaimed raw materials we picked up on our salvage trips. Over the years we have collected and catalogued a vast array of reclaimed items such as Reclaimed Oak Beams, Flooring and Doors & fireplaces, these are also available to the trade and public.
Every year is incredibly exciting for us here at Markham Reclaimed, the business is always evolving and we look forward to new clients setting us new challenges. We have provided reclaimed wood and timber for two feature films produced here in the UK, James Bond and recently, Beauty & The Beast. We have also assisted in the fitting out of a very high-end luxury goods shop in the west end of London, as well as designing and building furniture for homes, around the UK.
Markham Reclaimed is a family business. John's love of this craftsmanship started when he was a child, little did John's father know that a table he made would calve the beginning of John's future and love for furniture design. It only seems fitting that his journey is shared with the family.
John lives and breathes reclaimed timber and there’s not a minute of each day when he’s not thinking about new designs and ideas for the business or working on new ways to improve the production within it.
John believes the real driving force of the business is and always should be customer satisfaction. With Each enquiry through to a completed order, we always ensure a clear understanding and open dialogue between the customer and us. Having always taken this attitude and approach we believe this has resulted in a loyal and satisfied growing customer base.
